Help:Editing
From Wiki pLua
Some general guidelines for editing articles:
-Write articles as if you were to explain it to a novice. This will help to be it clear.
-Do not assume something is fully understood. Cover everything your article is about with external links. Several commands use the same concept.
-If you asked it previously on the group, please go to the group, fetch that golden info, and organyze it here. It is easier to search a wiki than to follow the conversation on the group (but it's better to go and talk to all the wise community there for new topics / info.)
-For info on the undecided formatting options refer to Talk:Main Page. Write your personal opinion on the proposals there.
-Search for something or browse existing articles, and then click on the red links, if you see one / expand that short article, if you are willing to contribute.
This wiki is build from the people for the people, and it won't be built in two days or within a week. Let's expand it gradually but surely.
Standards for creating articles
- Images can be used from now on. If you are able to take screenshots of the controls / functions / utils, upload and link them.
- Plua1 commands must redirect to the article called like their plua2 equivalent. This article must contain both sintaxis and uses explained.
- Commands must contain Plua1 sintax, plua2 sintax, arguments and example.
- If you need help with formating, see Wikipedia Cheatsheet
